A little about Mrs. Winnie

• I grew up in Ely and Overton, Nevada and around Utah.
• I've taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades and coached teachers and taken care of student testing in Kingman, AZ and here in Las Vegas.
• I graduated from Moapa Valley High School in Overton, NV (Go, Pirates!!), The College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, NV with an Associates Degree in Design, and Dixie State University in St. George, UT with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education.
• I have the cutest 6 year old boy you'll ever meet ;)
• I have two dogs, Axel and Gemma, and one fluffy, grumpy gray cat, Bella.
• I love Batman, Jack Sparrow, Harry Potter, and Disneyland!
• I like to watch mysteries on TV or lately, Youtube videos to teach myself crochet.
• I love to read. My favorites are Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, Pete the Cat, or any Skippy Jon Jones book!
• My favorite colors are black, purple, or anything sparkly.
• I love Mexican food, Cafe Rio, chocolate almonds, and Walmart's Watermelon Lime drink packets added to my water.
• I run the String Art and Crafting Academy here after school!
