Hi! Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Cathy Arakaki. I am originally from Hawaii and have been in Las Vegas for 21 years. My husband and I have 3 children who also attend CCSD schools. This is my 29th year of teaching. I have been in CCSD since 1996 and have been at Helen Herr for a total of 14 years. Prior to CCSD I was in St. Paul, MN for 8 years. I am looking forward to all the things I have planned for this year. We will definitely be "stretching our brains" and "reaching for the stars"!
